We would like to bring to your notice that Bardhaman district is sanctified by The Divine presence of Sri Ramakrishna Deva, Sri Sri Maa Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and his brother disciples. You are also aware that soon after his triumphant return from the west in 1897, Swami Vivekananda took steps to establish Ramakrishna Mission. We are further glad to inform you that an new branch of Ramakrishna Mission has started functioning at Bajepratappur, Katwa Road, Bardhaman, West Bengal.
Keeping the Mission’s motto “For the emancipation of one’s own self and the welfare of the world" as main source of inspiration, the branch centre at Burdwan has started various spiritual and social activities in and around Bardhaman district to help people physically, intellectually and spiritually.
